Place the tip of the index finger at the root of the thumb. Touch the tip of the middle finger and the ring finger to the tip of the thumb keeping the little figure straight. This makes Apaan Vayu Mudra. This is called the life saver and is the first aid for the heart attack also called as Mrit sanjivani Mudra. This is the most powerful mudra for all circulatory and heart problems. Regular practice is said to have near-miraculous impact on the heart.
Benefits:
Heavy perspirations on hands and feet are relieved by this mudra. It balances body temperature.At the time of angina pain, sudden heart attacks and high blood pressure then this Mudra works as a pain relieving injection or a sorbitrate tablet (which is placed underneath one’s tongue as first aid for severe chaste pain or heart attack).It helps in acidity. Pains cause due to any vayu in the body and stomach can be cured by this Mudra.Gas in the stomach or in the body is removed by the help of this mudra.It is like a medicine for blood pressure.Helps normalizes blood pressure.
Doing this mudra morning and evening for 15 minutes prevents heart attacks.It strengthens the heart and regularizes palpitation.
Beneficial in case of headache, stomach ache and gastric troubles, constipation and regular bowel movements.It purifies the entire body.Those suffering from cardiac problems should do Apaanvayu Mudra for 15-45 minutes daily as per the severity of the disease.
