I got told I had heart disease a day before my 21st birthday ( left ventricular apical trabeculation) or non compaction, it scares me seeing these adverts but in the same breath thank you for supporting people like me! One day i may need it, hopefully not but it sure makes me feel better knowing people care enough to help! Thank you x

Watching this twice in the cinema is probably the most heartbreaking advert I have even seen played.

This really upset me when I saw this last night. My dad died from a heart attack a few months ago and it was completely unexpected as he was so young. The part that upset me the most was when the boy said "I don't understand" as that's exactly how I felt for the first few days. I didn't really expected to be crying my eyes out again while watching Saturday night TV!

I lost my husband my children lost their dad to a heart attack at the age of 4I, I know the message has to be put across but think this advert is to much for families that have already been through such heartache. im dreading my children seeing this.

With a young son who has just started school and with my own father who died too young with heart disease this has scared/shocked me into making changes. Really powerful message well done BHF.

+British Heart Foundation,This is Disgusting fear porn!
Charity my arse! you are conning people out of money they do not have by telling them that if they don't donate their fathers will die. you should be ashamed of yourselves playing on peoples deepest fears like that. Pond life has more morals! I bet you delete this now.

This advert made me cry. Two of my sons went through this. Someone coming to school to tell them that their Dad had died from a heart attack. I just hope they don't see the advert. Even though it is thirty years ago it still hurts

Having a heart problem myself I doubt I would walk into my little girls school the last thing she would want to remember about me is embarrassing her In class I know that if my condition get worse that she'll hopefully just remember the good silly times or when she learnt to ride a bike
