    But keep in mind, if you violate the laws of proper eating and do not use herbs, you'll have no choice but to go to the doctor. While I definitely prescribe to herbs I think the stat is a bit misleading, because as tough of a pill it is to swallow, they also probably save much more lives and with all due respect, much of the loss could be malpractice.Again, this is not to defend the AMA, but just to put things in perspective.

    Yes, they call it iatrogenesis = disease or injury caused by treatment. I believe the stat includes only that which is begrudged. There's plenty of etiological denial too. That word means disease genesis, what's its primary cause. & they cook stats like they cook their books. Oh, for an Enron in the "healthcare" industry!

Yes that is a big obvious one, but the idea to keep in mind is that there are many things that your body can't filter.
