    It is absolutely rediculous that the corrupt pharma is still injecting us with the myth that lowering your cholesterol is good for you. IT IS JUST THE OPPOSITE!! YOU NEED ALL THE SATURATED FATS YOU CAN GET!! Remember, these corporations putting out health information don't make money off of you IF YOU ARE HEALTHY!!! You MUST HAVE: Butter (grass-fed, organic), eggs (mainly yolks), bacon (YES, the saturated fats in bacon are VERY necessary!!), and the like. WHY? Because 2/3 of your brain is made from cholesterol, 95% by weight of your testosterone is made by cholesterol… Look up the KETOGENIC diet. Btw, you DON'T gain weight by eating these things!!!

    a friend of mine with a cholesterol level of 270 despite running 3 x per week and being slim started taking a bowl of cooked oats 5 x per week. his cholesterol dropped to 220. he did not modify his diet in any other way. he takes rice meat and veggies for lunch and dinner daily with 3 to4 whole fruits per day.

    ? hfcs & sucrose are made up of glucose & fructose, it's true that certain combinations metabolize differently & affect ldl's, hdl's, triglycerides & insulin differently even as far as creating their own LDL b patterns which cause artery damage. but over all carbs should be avoided as much as possible, even your whole bread, which is just slow metabolized sugar with some nutrients.

    The only carbohydrate which has been demonstrated to raise cholesterol is high fructose corn syrup. Neither sucrose, glucose, nor whole food carbohydrates including fruit have been demonstrated to do this, and most whole food carbohydrates are in fact cholesterol lowering.

    If you have high cholesterol it's because your eating too many carbs of any kind.
    Eat high vegetables, high protein, & a decent amount of fat & you'll stabilize. Don't touch any carbs they're bad for you. Grain is bird food not human food.
