Many people are concerned about their daily cholesterol intake. In today’s society, there has never been more emphasis on eating the right foods and getting healthy. People all over the world are growing accustomed to eating westernized foods. This has led to more people being overweight and eating unhealthy. A normal range of cholesterol levels is said to be less than 200 mg. If your range is between 201-239mg, then it is borderline high. Any levels at 240 mg or higher are said to be high.

There are many ways to approach a cholesterol lowering diet. Understand that you also need to exercise to get your cholesterol down to an acceptable level. I recommend that you make changes to your lifestyle one step at a time. If you can make changes one step at a time, you will have a much better chance of success. Success is crucial for your long-term health, as high cholesterol levels can lead to high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes.

My first recommendation is for you to start getting exercise. You want to exercise at least 30 minutes a day. If you are already exercising, you should change your exercise routine or do things differently. It takes 21 days to form a habit. After 21 days, you want to add another change to your lifestyle. Replace one of your high cholesterol foods with a healthy alternative food.

I recommend that one of your early changes is to take natural cholesterol supplements to help your body control your cholesterol. Keep making changes every three weeks, and you will gradually see improvements in your lifestyle. If you try to make a lot of changes all at once, you will not be able to stick with your new lifestyle. You want to move your body into a normal range of cholesterol levels as soon as possible to advert possible health consequences in your 40s and 50s.
