Posted at 00:38h, 14 AprilKrause's Food & the Nutrition Care Process is veeeery text booky ahahaha. I should also add that in some countries (like mine) its ilegal to call yourself a nutritionist or a dietitan without a formal education and passing the RD exams (both the terms nutritionist and dietitian mean the same in my country and are protected by law). If you do work in the area and do things like prescribing meal plans and doing consultations without a license and credentials you can get in serious trouble. So, make sure to look what are the policies in your country and decide if you just want to learn about it or realy make your career about it!

Posted at 00:38h, 14 AprilI have a degree in nutrition and dietetics but I am mostly likely not going to become an RD because I currently don't have the money. I was thinking about doing the Plant Based Nutrition course through e-Cornell but I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it. Did you think it benefited you in being able to promote a plant based diet? Ive been vegan for 3 1/2 years at this point and was wondering if it would be worth it or is it structured to educate people who don't have a degree. I also am a personal trainer and want to focus on sports nutrition and athletic training
What's Good, Berto?
Posted at 00:38h, 14 AprilThank you, Amanda! I also did the Plant Based Nutrition course through e-Cornell and also Fitness Nutrition Specialist through NASM. I suck at retaining information, so I have to constantly expose myself to information to keep it in mind, so this helps lol.
