    Eating in a "defecit" and not loosing weight. Rapidly gaining fat at 1600 calories max . Please help!!

    When I stress and sleep is messed up I lose weight from lack of eating but I also lift and try to keep my protein intake up. Especially since cardio hurts.

    Yin yoga is AMAZING I’ve fallen in love with it over the summer (I’m a teacher) and can only find one class per week that fits my school year schedule…it’s SO GOOD

    Thanks for being practical when it comes to these tips! So often ALL i hear is "STOP TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT LOVE YOURSELF when it's TOTALLY okay to want something for yourself vain/materialistic or not simply because um…YOU WANT TO AND WHY NOT? It's not wrong to want something…jeez.

    I injured myself really badly when I first started exercise (after like two months went too hard too fast) and long walks were what I did to replace it while I recovered. I would take my dog and head to the trail and walk 25,000 steps a day (not in one sitting) to just stay moving while I couldn't do anything too hard. Now I do this every other day as a "rest day" rather than go hard every day. I love walking (and running). It's almost meditative for me. I exercise for maintenance though, not gaining or losing.

    It's pretty funny that every time one of us has really big issue that we need to try to struggle with, you come around and come with a video about that topic LOL I've been trying to work with not being able to exercise as as much as I'd like to and this just laid out the steps I would need to take.     Love this Marisa. I recently tore a ligament on my ankle and I can't do any exercises involving squats, walking etc. What sort of cardio would you recommend for me? I can do ab exercises, kickbacks for the glutes and push ups etc. Thanks xx

    Love this, thank you!! I was used to lifting 4x a week and have to take 2 weeks off, just doing treadmill and 25 min walks :) I keep getting spooked with how similar our fitness timelines have been lmao

    Thank you. I needed this info. My health has declined and I can’t weight lift right now at all. That was my main form of exercise. I can do some yoga/mobility work and some cardio like walking or jogging. Recently it’s become hard to do even that due to my health currently. I’m going to try to keep doing yoga currently to try to keep some muscle.
