Hello all !!!! Today i will be showing you the simple recipe od making idli which can be consumed even by diabetic patients, a very healthy and nutritious idli made with moong dal & rava. A healthy, snack which can be made in minutes as morning breakfast or evening snack. With very less and readily available ingredients at home we can make these idlis at home. With very less oil and all healthy ingredients, you can also include this recipe in your diet to lose weight. Instant Healthy Moongdal Idli | Healthy Moongdal idli for Diabetic patients.
Ingredients:-
1 Cup Greengram/ Moongdal Soaked overnight
1 Cup Semolina/ Rava
3/4 Cup Thick Buttermilk ( 1/2cup curd+ 1/4 Cup water)
3 Green Chillies
1 inch Ginger
1/4 Tspn Asafoetida/Hing
1 Tspn Salt or as per taste
1/4 Tspn Baking Soda
Water if needed (i have used 4 tspn 2 tspn while grinding & 2 tspn after soaking)
Oil for greasing idli plate.

Tips:-
1) You can use sprouted moong dal also.
2) add chillies as per your taste
3) you can also add carrot in the batter if you like.
4) you can use curd with some water if buttermilk not available.
