    I started the 5.2 diet back in spring 2016 when I reached over 10 stone which I felt was too heavy for my height of 5 ft 3inches. I managed to reach 7 stone and 5 pounds by Christmas 2017. I have kept to the two day fasting ever since to maintain my weight but eat more than I used to on non fasting days. So far I have stayed at 7stone 10 A’s was told 7 stone 5 was too thin for me. It is a drag on the fasting days but the day after the fast you do feel great with so much energy and the fact that you can eat more or less what you fancy. Good luck with whatever diet you do, you seem very determined so I’m sure you will succeed x

    You are inspiring me! Would weekly updates be too much? I feel monthly is too long. The day to day challenges with fitting in healthy eating and exercising would be so interesting. I can relate to the yoga mat in the cupboard, I have workout gear that I’ve bought with such good intentions that look so lovely in the drawers..lol

    No no no. Im a pt & nutrionist in uae. The best thing to do is cut out rubbish. Eat real food & not processed junk. For a treat for u & fam have so exotic fruit eg dragon fruit, passion fruit etc with greek yogs. Have wine & coffee but dont over do it.. 1 to 2 cups. I have a daughter 8yrs & drummed in grom young age chocs & sweets are party food.
    & dont fast as ur bod is an amazing machine. When u fast ur bod holds on to fat as it thinks ur bod is starving & doesnt know when next meal is coming.
    & also walk more…encourage kids to walk more too x

    Good for you Kim. Yes you have given me a boost. I too also do fasting 5 days a week from 7pm to 12 noon – I'm not sure if it does anything, so I would be interested to know how you get on. Two days a week I have breakfast, as I am sat in an office – it passes the time! Would love to know how you get on with the work out vids as well!

    Wishing you every success! Definitely take body measurements, as you may find you will gain weight as you build muscle, but your body will continue to shrink/change shape. I'm also someone that weighs myself regularly, just to keep tabs on things.

    Im lazy/dirty keto i intermittent fast and im OMAD. Started 2018 so far ive lost nearly 6stone. Ive got 1.5stone left till goal. And thts wiv no exercise. I still av cake , brownies, bread etc but its all keto recipes. Ive never managed to lose weight any other way as im hypothyroid. My mind is clearer, i feel better. The first week was hell but then all was good. Good luck. Xx

    I can totally recommend Lucy Wyndham -reads workouts !!! Free on you tube and I’ve had amazing results from her! 7 min workouts , longer ones and 4 min hiits . Good luck but you look great anyway ! ❤️
